Supporting individuals with developmental disabilities involves more than providing assistance during scheduled activities; it requires professionals who understand how support needs can arise across different settings. At Social Health Services Group, Incorporated, team members carry out responsibilities involving residential support, community participation, daily activities, employment preparation, and coordination with existing support networks. Their work may involve helping individuals practice skills, navigate routines, participate in their communities, or address needs identified through their support plans. Collaboration with families, guardians, and other professionals may also be part of the service experience when coordination is needed. Through these day-to-day responsibilities, the team helps translate individual support needs into practical services.
